IETA LIVE Series - Linking the EU and UK Emissions Trading Systems: Cooperation or Isolation?

Although the UK has opted for a standalone ETS, both the UK and EU have committed to giving ‘serious consideration’ to linkage. This event will look to industry and policy experts to discuss the possibility of linkage. Is linkage politically feasible? What might the technical requirements and key negotiation issues be? What lessons can be learned from previous linkage agreements?
